How to make Muriwo une dovi

Leafy greens cooked with onion, tomato and peanut butter, which melts into a creamy, nutty sauce. Spinach, rape, covo or pumpkin leaves are all used. It is one of the most common relishes for sadza, and a good way to make a meal of vegetables alone.
Ingredients
- A large bunch of spinach or other leafy greens
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 3 tablespoons smooth peanut butter
- 3 tablespoons oil
- About 50 ml water
- Salt
Method
- Wash the greens and cut them into fine strips.
- Heat the oil in a pot, add the greens and a pinch of salt, then the onion, and fry for about 2 minutes.
- Add the tomatoes and cook for 2 more minutes.
- Stir in the peanut butter with a little water until the sauce is smooth. Cover and simmer on a very low heat for 3 to 5 minutes. Serve with sadza.
